Community Groups

Both in Ergersheim and the surrounding towns, as well as in the two cities of Bad Windsheim and Uffenheim, there is a wide variety of clubs catering to a diverse range of interests and activities.

Carnival is a particularly big deal in our region, so Carnival enthusiasts are in good hands with the KarnevalsGesellschaft Windshemia in Bad Windsheim as well as with numerous Carnival clubs in the towns and communities of the district!

Historical Landmarks

Shaped by viticulture and home to the historic towns of Bad Windsheim, Uffenheim, and Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the region also has a lot to offer culturally. Castles, fortresses, and a number of museums invite you to visit. A special highlight of the region is Walkershofen Castle and Colmberg Castle, where, just like in Bad Windsheim and Rothenburg o. d. Tauber, night watchman tours are offered.

For those interested in military history, a visit to the Muna Museum in Marktbergel is highly recommended.

Concerts and Theater

In addition, concerts and theater performances take place regularly, as well as a wide variety of seminars and courses on a range of topics, for example at the KKC Congress Center in Bad Windsheim.

Theater enthusiasts also have the opportunity to enjoy the Röttingen Castle Festival and the Florian Geier Festival in Giebelstadt.

And those looking for a special movie experience are sure to find it at one of the (open-air) movie theaters in the region.
